ENHANCING CLASSROOM LEARNING WITH NEWSPAPERS - Exciting NIE programs are available to educators through most major newspapers and are designed to encourage the use of newspapers as a means of transmitting curriculum as well as building future readers . . . ATTENTION SOCIAL STUDIES TEACHERS! The November election provides a great opportunity to encourage students' interest in the presidential race. Newspapers in Education (NIE) will be running a "Presidential Election Series".
MUSIC SERIES - Our music courses are designed to help you feel more comfortable with integrating music into your every day schedule. Statistics show that music helps children learn more across the curriculum and stay engaged in the learning process--plus it has the added bonus of making them happy throughout their day!
ART SERIES - After completing one or all of these courses you will have the tools to excite your students with a love and understanding of modern art and a better appreciation of their environment. Learning by doing is the key to these courses.

 USING THE INTERNET IN THE CLASSROOM SERIES - Total of 8 courses that exist for the purpose of verifying that the enrolled teacher has studied, comprehended and incorporated the materials, ideas and information presented in the Teachers Network's online training program on how to use the internet.
